Early American indie rock band 'Beat Happening' were one of the founders of the Seattle rock scene. Founded in 1982 in Olympia Washington the band has been instrumental in the indie and low-fi movements. All their music videos have stayed true to this low tech ethic.

The spirit of that Seattle scene has spawned a burgeoning indie music scene plus thriving independent film and independent media movements as well.
